A person who has been sentenced to whipping only by order of a court and is sent to prison for the execution of the sentence, shall be entered in admission register in red ink and treated as an under trial prisoner. In the event of an undertrial prisoner being unfit by reasons of sickness to attend court on the date fixed, the Superintendent shall immediately send a report of the case to the court concerned for orders. When an under-trial prisoner is seriously ill, the Superintendent shall send a report of the fact to the court concerned, and such report shall be accompanied by a medical report of the case in order to enable the court to consider the possibility of ordering the release of the prisoner on bail.
