Procedure on death, transfer or release. Rule 432. (i) On the death of a state prisoner a special report with full particulars, shall be made to the InspectorGeneral for submission to Government The order and warrant shall at the same time be returned through the InspectorGeneral with an endorsement certifying the prisoner's death. (ii) A report shall be made to the Inspector-General when a state prisoner is transferred to another prison or released under the order of Government; in the latter case the order or warrant shall accompany the report with an endorsement certifying the release of the prisoner. Note. In addition to above, separate confidential instructions are issued by Government from time to time about the treatment of state prisoners in prisons. 151
